Background:Brian was training for the Evo 2012 fighting game tournament, one of the most prestigious tournaments in the world. He only had a few days before the tournament started, and he knew this was his only chance to prove himself as a fighting game champion. His best shot was to try to better master his favorite character, Balrog the Boxer. After sitting down at a local arcade, he popped in his last two quarters and started playing Super Street Fighter IV. Eight hours later, Brian was still at the arcade. Brian had crushed everyone who came to challenge him. People watched as he schooled noob after noob. Twenty four hours passed, and Brian was still somehow playing on the same two quarters.
For three days, Brian did nothing but play Super Street Fighter IV. He practiced and practiced on those two quarters. After a full seventy two hours of non-stop play, word had gotten around about Brian and his insane gaming streak. He had made national news and attracted the attention of Justin Wong, one of the world's best fighting game champions. No one could take Justin Wong's spot light, so he came to Brian's arcade to challenge him to a match.
Justin never stood a chance. Brian pulled off one combo after another. The match ended. Brian defeated Justin with a perfect KO.
Furious, Justin launched a right hook at Brian. Brian blocked the blow and knocked out Justin Wong with a series of jabs. Brian had learned how to box from his 72 hour gaming marathon. Brian was now the Balrog.
