Some of the smaller projects Techhouse members have done are proposed with the goal of improving life around Techhouse. These include building a tripod for displaying white boards, installing a whiteboard and a chalkboard in our common rooms, running a telephone to the basement, setting up multiple VTs to connect to our server, and planting a variety of flower bulbs in the ground outside our house. Future plans include a "digital-analog" clock around the large Techhouse logo in our main lobby.
We've also put considerable effort into building a useful workshop, including work benches, a variety of heavy-duty power tools, and floor-to-ceiling shelving. During an inspirational cleanup of the house, the "rumpus room" next door to the workshop became a secondary lounging location thanks to old furniture, a TV, and the pinball machine left to us by former inhabitants of Harkness.
