Quite a no-nonsense go-getter, Chrissy knows exactly what she wants and doesn't quit till she either gets it or blows herself up in the process. Of course, most of the inventions she tries in her spare time tend to do the latter, so she has also developed a real tough exterior to weather the comments many have on Chrissy's rather obsessive nature over her line of work. This is mostly superficial though, as people who get to know her will often find she's not some dumb machinehead but a real pal, whether it's helping out in a tight spot or just gabbing away over a drink.
To say Chrissy has one single goal would be an understatement -- try one hundred, or maybe one thousand. Endeavoring to restore the technology of bygone years is a big task indeed, and as soon as one thing is all raring to go, there will always be the next big remnant for her to hammer away at. It may be her job, but it's also her reason for living... and one that sure keeps a girl busy!
Born and raised in the Terran city of San Diego, Chrissy has resided there most of her life. Her father was a repairman for the esteemed Lucia's own Naval Fleet, and her mom a minor administrator in Blue Dragon Tech, so it was pretty obvious from day one what their daughter would end up doing. Though she wasn't exactly the brightest in school or had the most social graces, her slant towards hands-on mechanical work was astounding, and it wasn't long before she started tagging along with her dad to be his little assistant, or hobnob with the bigwigs at her mother's job. Around the time she turned 16, there was an opening for repair trainees at the local Terran-Lunar teleportation station, and between her apparent potential and her family's pull in the company, Chrissy easily won the position.
So far three years have gone by, and now at the age of 19, she's finally making a name for herself in the technological community. Of course the fact she loves working as an independant contractor on the side means she's also getting known for her penchant for breaking the rules in the process. Perhaps the biggest source of her pride is the fact she's secretly been developing an AI system without her bosses knowing about it. Affectionately named DANTE (Developmental Automaton for Natural and Technological Enhancement), it works like a remote assistant for interfacing with various systems, and is probably what you could consider Chrissy's "partner" of sorts. Of course, the fact Dante can override some of Blue Dragon Tech's and the Church's security protocols makes it super dangerous to even have operational, but when you've got dreams as big as she does, sometimes a girl needs to have a little fun to get things done right. ^_-
But what will happen next time she goes too far...?
