Kodah has no real occupation. He just wanders the land, surviving as best he can by his wits alone. He buys what he can with what little he finds, but owns very little in the way of actual possessions.
Kodah is a bit on the tall side, topping 6 feet by a few inches. He appears to weigh a bit over 200 lbs. His head is covered with short and wiry blonde hair, which is kept well trimmed. His skin is a bit on the pale side, and never seems to tan. His eyes are his most startling feature. Red irises against pale blue.
These days, Kodah has taken to wearing loose gi-style clothing, made up of green, black with red trimming.
Around people he doesn’t know, Kodah is quiet and nervous. He has trouble opening up and making friends. As much as he’d like to, he just doesn’t know how. Living in secret as he has for so long, he lacks many of the social skills that others take for granted.
Should he manage to find friends, he will be fiercely loyal to them, and stand by them no matter what. However, if betrayed by them, he will be hard pressed to ever trust them again. Kodah feels he cannot take any chances, considering what he is.
Kodah wants to learn the truth about his existence. On a lesser note, Kodah doesn’t want to be alone anymore. He wants to belong again, even if only for a moment.
(Note: I took a few liberties in editing this just to preserve some of the mystery of the character. Don't blame DNW for anything that seems to be lacking here -- DMLou)
Kodah had no idea where or when it came from. All it knew was that for the longest time, it was alone. Living alone in the wilds for who knows how long...
After many years, an old man passed by the Emeriss home. Tired and hungry, he asked if he might be able to rest for the night. The Emeriss’ took him in, fed him and gave him a bed (as was their way). During his stay, the old man took a keen interest in Kodah. He had never seen anyone who seemed as unusual as Kodah. The old man was wide and learned in the ways of old magic, and could sense great potential lurking inside Kodah. He offered to help Kodah tap into that potential as thanks for the family’s kindness.
The old man did what he could for Kodah while he could, but eventually had to move on. Still, those few teachings gave Kodah the starting point from which he would one day learn to harness his own magical power. And time marched on.
His wanderings took him many places. Places thick with humans and their ilk. With only the skills he had honed after many years of living in the wild, Kodah could only find work as a laborer in a small port town.
This barely scratches the surface of Kodah's character, but as the story progresses more will be discovered... What is so unusual about Kodah?
Played by: DNW
Update: (As of Session 14) Ares is apparently very interested in Kodah for some reason, and knows something about him that noone else does.
