Here you will find the session logs for LUNAR: Armageddon. At least, you will once the game has started. For now, I just have some sample logs from another old RPG of mine, LUNAR: A Story Forgotten 2 to show you what they look like.
Logs come in two forms: unedited and edited. “Unedited” logs are the raw log files spit out by my IRC client — complete with IRC junk, no formatting, OOC comments, and the like. “Edited” logs are log files that have been cleaned up of all the useless junk, spell-checked, punctuation-checked (though I may miss some stuff), and converted into HTML format. An added bonus of the HTML conversion is that they can have special formatting that plain-text logs can’t take advange of. The one drawback is that my HTML uses an external CSS style sheet, so if you save the edited logs to your computer, the formatting may look off. To fix it, just download the CSS style sheet file here and save it to the same folder as your logs.
In order to speed up the generation of edited logs, I will be using special marker characters while GMing. These characters can be interpreted by a script I wrote that converts the log file to HTML in order to properly format the edited logs. This normally won’t affect you, but I figured it wouldn’t hurt to let you know in case you’re wondering what those weird characters are in the unedited logs.
With that, here are two sample logs (with the unedited version modified slightly for my log conversion script), one unedited and one edited, showing just what the logs will look like (more or less – some things may change due to using different rules in this game).
