The Lawrenceville School Organ
The Henry Woods Organ in The Edith Memorial Chapel
of the The Lawrenceville School was built by the Andover
Organ Company of Methuen, Massachusetts in 1968. The organ is Andover's
Opus 60 and is one of the prominent organs in the Princeton and Mercer
County areas. The organ features a tracker action, 3 manuals (the Great, Swell, and Positiv),
53 stops, 272 virtual pistons, and 63 ranks totaling 3,408 pipes in a chapel
with a 2 second reverberation time. In the future, the page will be moved to the Lawrenceville
Homepage and will be updated with sound samples and a virtual organ
crawl.
